This housing price index is based on the first quarter of 2000, with current data as of 9/30/22. Price growth continues to slow down. In fact, California (driven primarily by south California) declined over the last three months. It is probable, based on increasing "days on the market" and price discounts, that we will see more declines through 2023; hopefully, they will be modest.
