Healy, CMB, an industry thought leader who has literally “written the book” on valuing mortgage servicing rights. Drawing on his loan valuation insights as well as the team’s rich history in banking technology, Level1Analytics is addressing the market’s unmet needs for in-house solutions that are fast, accurate, cost-effective, transparent, and defensible.

- Joe Brown, Chief Executive Officer
Joe Brown was appointed chief executive officer in June 2014, having previously served as Level1Analytics’ chief operating officer since August 2011. While serving as chief operating officer, Mr. Brown was instrumental in the formation of the Company and managing its day-to-day operations. Mr. Brown has more than a quarter century of experience in executive management and information technology. He is a pioneer in the deployment and support of Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, having worked in this area for the past 17 years.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Brown served as chief operating officer and chief information officer of Intraprise Solutions, Inc. His primary responsibilities included data center and hosting operations, corporate security, compliance, product support, and developing and implementing corporate and IT strategy. Mr. Brown also served as vice president and chief information officer for Streamline Health. He was responsible for the formation and operation of one of the first web-based healthcare document management applications to be offered as a service over the Internet. His other duties included corporate information services, client services, and HIPAA privacy officer.
A graduate of Miami University, Mr. Brown served 22 years of combined active and reserve duty with the United States Marine Corps as a data systems officer.

Dr. Thomas J. Healy has more than 30 years of unmatched experience in financial valuation and value modeling. Prior to the creation of Level1Analytics, Dr. Healy held a variety of executive-level positions at top lending institutions. These included the following:
- President and CEO of Level 1 Loans
- Managing Director of Hanover Capital Partners
- Senior Vice President of Countrywide Securities Corporation
- Managing Director of CoreStates Capital Markets
- Chief Executive Officer of a national bank
- Vice President of Chase Manhattan Bank in New York and Hong Kong
- CFO of the Consumer Banking Sector
- Staff Assistant to David Rockefeller
Dr. Healy obtained his Bachelor’s of Science degree, Cum Laude, in Mathematics and Economics; earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Banking; and a Doctorate degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on the business application of information technology. He also holds the Certified Mortgage Banker designation.
A Master Faculty Fellow and Dean of the Faculty of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Dr. Healy is a frequent lecturer and author on asset optimization topics to the financial services industry both here and abroad. His text on mortgage servicing rights, Servicing Portfolio Evaluation and Management: A Financial Perspective, has been published by the Mortgage Bankers Association and is in its second edition (2007).
- Jeff Van Voorhis, Executive Vice President Development
Jeff Van Voorhis is the Executive Vice President of Development for Level1Analytics. His primary responsibilities include software and systems architecture and leadership of the software development team. For nearly 30 years, Mr. Van Voorhis has led the development of sophisticated computing solutions for the financial services and healthcare industries.
In addition to his role with Level1Analytics, Mr. Van Voorhis is the president and Chief Technology Officer of Intraprise Solutions, Inc., and has day-to-day operational and strategic responsibility for the company’s Financial Services Division. Mr. Van Voorhis spearheaded the development of multiple financial and healthcare applications, including the design, implementation, and development of advanced High Performance Grid Computing projects at several large financial institutions. Mr. Van Voorhis was also responsible for the integration of the MetaSystem Document Imaging Workflow application with the EMR and Patient Accounting System for a large California Health System.
Mr. Van Voorhis also served as Director of Operations for IDX Systems (now GE Healthcare) as well as Chief Architect and Vice President of Development for LanVision Systems (now Streamline Health). Mr. Van Voorhis is a resident of Birmingham, Alabama, and a 1985 graduate of the University of Indiana-Bloomington with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
- Thomas J. Healy, III, Vice President Sales and Marketing
Tom Healy was appointed vice president of sales and marketing for Level1Analytics, having previously served as the product manager for Level 1 Loans. Mr. Healy has more than fifteen years working in sales, marketing and management roles for software, technology consulting and mortgage finance firms, although he has focused the majority of his career in technology consulting and Software as a Service (SaaS) sales and marketing. Prior to joining Level1Analytics, his primary role for Level 1 Loans was to oversee product communication, brand awareness and revenue growth for Level 1 Loan’s asset valuation services. Level 1 Loans provides valuation services for mortgage loans and mortgage servicing rights, along with other analyses such as loan loss provision calculations, prepay analyses, and stress tests.
Previous to that, Mr. Healy served as the solution sales manager of AAJ Technologies, Inc. AAJ Technologies is a software consulting services and solutions provider that focuses on business process improvement through the use of Microsoft tools and technologies. His responsibilities included business development activities, complex product demonstrations and cultivating partner relationships.Mr. Healy also served as Director of Sales for Learn.com (now Oracle). Learn.com was a SaaS firm providing on-demand learning automation software and services with more than 50 million end users around the globe. His primary responsibilities were managing all sales and revenue-related activity by overseeing a team of 13 national sales consultants. A graduate of Florida State University, Mr. Healy works from the firm’s Fort Lauderdale, FL office.
